In Europe, at least 20% of adults have deficiencies in the field of the ability to write, read, understand written text, perform simple calculations, and even more, in the field of using new technology in everyday life.
Currently the learning path of the old adults is based on standardized courses in typical classrooms which gives very low results. Our research shows clearly that they are motivated to learn ICT, because it is a great need for them in the modern world. The need exists to look for solutions which can help to find the most effective learning path and facilitate the daily life of these adults. Our aim is to teach them ICT with the usage of modern IT tools.
Yes We Can! is a project which aims to make an attempt to enable senior citizens with low ICT literacy to use the existing and new IT tools which can be useful in their life-long learning process, and to support adult workers and trainers who design learning methods and teach the senior people in this field.
The key to our thinking is the need to implement a new model of education to reach the target group and start the real learning process. Our model will use and adapt techniques of Paulo Freire, then transform it into the modern reality and use as a methodology of ICT learning together with an experiential learning approach.
The idea of the project involves the creation of a web platform and a mobile application. The system of the platform will contain information about a given user, list of completed training and level of progress as well as machine learning elements, where based on previously completed training and user preferences, it will propose further elements of the training. Additionally, the mobile app will be designed to contain the information and ways to reach the data useful in everyday life like weather, public transportation schedule, etc.
The project has been created and implemented by partners from four countries: Poland, Greece, Turkey and Czech Republic. This transnational consortium is going to work for the project during the 34 months – between September 2019 and June 2022 to bring the most effective and beneficial results.

EliCCon-Project aims to explore the rich cultural diversity of Europe and raise awareness about its high value for our common life. Increasing the awarness of this precious cultural diversity contributes to the development of shared identity in Europe.
Secure Internet with ČSOB II. The project responds to the increasing use of modern technology by adolescents without proper instruction and to the demand of schools for preventive activities from external organizations. Unfortunately, the practice is that in most schools, prevention is realized by paying the training themselves, and those from weak social families who are particularly vulnerable to the target group do not participate in training for the most part due to non-payment and are from it more excluded. The association strives to make its own endeavor and not only to train, but to offer all its activities to everyone for free.

The main objective of the project is to develop a comprehensive and effective methodology with activities supporting multiculturalism, national tolerance and creating a higher resistance to xenophobia and racism. Partial aims are to offer schools a comprehensive set of activities that can be included in the civic education lessons or classroom lessons.
To offer schools and prevention practitioners a practical guide in the form of a publication which brings not only new knowledge in the field of cyberbullying, but above all examples of good practice applied at other schools. All project activities are offered to schools free of charge. The project is financially supported from the budget of the Ministry of Health

The Ostrava – City of Responsible Schools project was successfully implemented in 2017 and continues in 2019. The project seeks to respond to real and natural demand from primary and secondary schools for the implementation of activities aimed at minimizing the risks of Internet and communication technologies whose use and pitfalls are still on the rise. The core activities focus on four basic target groups – pupils, teachers, parents and seniors, who are one of the vulnerable groups of users of modern technology due to their untrained use of modern technologies and easy manipulation. The aim of this project is to offer activities to all target groups free of charge, especially adolescents, due to the common practice in schools, which unfortunately often leads to prevention training being paid by the pupils themselves (30-50 CZK / pupil), which has two basic negative impacts.
